Int'l training on Chinese Acupuncture comes to a conclusion in Beijing

To further promote Chinese medicine in Latin American countries, the Department of International Cooperation of MOST sponsored a training program on Chinese Acupuncture for Mexico participants. The training was successfully conducted by the International School of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from 26 June to 24 July 2007.

During this one-month training program, the 24 students from Mexico and other countries made a systematic study of modern research on Chinese medicine, status quo of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine integration and the main mechanism of acupuncture in the last ten years. The students indicated that they profited immensely from the training. They not only improved their clinical skills and obtained valuable clinical experiences from Chinese doctors, but also learnt of some latest theories and research of Chinese medicine.
