Infringing watches seized by Zhuhai Customs

Recently the Zhuhai Customs seized a total of 545 watches suspected of infringing several well-known international trademarks, like DISNEY, LACOSTE and HELLO KITTY. The infringing goods were found in the luggage of a passenger who was leaving China.

When the passenger from Taiwan was waiting for exit, the official at the Customs examined his luggage with the X-ray machine. Finding the X-ray image unusual, the official opened the passenger's two trunks and found a total of 545 infringing watches, involving more than 20 brands. The Customs has established that the watches were counterfeit goods and infringed the involving trademarks recorded at the Customs.
