110 mln pirated audio-visual products confiscated in China

BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhua) -- China confiscated some 110 million pirated audio-visual products in a crackdown on intellectual property rights infringement last year, official sources said Thursday.
It is reported that, the Information Office of the State Council convened a press conference on Thursday morning, inviting State Intellectual Property Office spokesman Yin Xintian, Vice Director of the Trademark Office of State Administration for Industry and Commerce Fan Hanyun, Vice Director of Copyright Management Department of National Copyright Administration Xu Chao to introduce China's IPR achievements in 2007, and answer the questions raised by reporters.
