SIPO makes working plan for 2008

Lately, the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) announced the major tasks in 2008, the key year for implementing IPR strategy and developing IPR-related work.

The overall requirements are to carry out the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the CPC, hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, implement the scientific concept of development under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of Three Represents, strengthen the cultivation of IPR professionals, perfect patent law and regulation system, improve the comprehensive skill of patent work and facilitate the information-based construction work.

As for IPR strategy, SIPO will start to fulfill and publicize the IPR strategy as well as frame and boost the implementation plan. Moreover, in collaboration with legislation departments, it will review the Draft Amendment to Patent Law.
