Beijing: Zhongguancun S&T Park arranges IPR work

Zhongguancun national IPR system model S&T park convened the launching ceremony for the IPR special fund and 2008 working conference on the afternoon of February 29. Related officials from Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office and the management committee of Zhongguancun S&T park attended it.

At the meeting, Zhongguancun Intellectual Property Promotion Office released the management regulations on patent promotion fund, launched the supporting fund of 2008 and introduced the activities to be held in “4.26” World Intellectual Property Day.

Vice Director of the office also summed up the IPR-related work in 2007 and expressed they will provide more services for enterprises in 2008.

At his speech, Deputy Inspector of Beijing IP Office Fu Xiaohui noted that in 2008, the Olympic year and 30th anniversary of China's opening up and reform, the S&T park should further improve working system, strengthen resource integration, boost innovation by brand building and enhance the consciousness of IPR protection.

Nearly 50 representatives from enterprises took part in the meeting, which marks the start of IPR work in Zhongguancun S&T park in 2008. [Chinese version is available on SIPO.gov.cn]
