Cambodia reaffirmed its commitment to intellectual property protection and innovation-driven growth at the 16th Meeting of the China-ASEAN Heads of Intellectual Property Offices in Xi’an.
Led by Pracha Ouk, secretary of state of the Ministry of Commerce, the Cambodian delegation actively contributed to updating the current ASEAN IP Work Plan (2016-2025) and shaping the next plan for 2026-2030.
The delegation also supported the adoption of the 2025-2026 China-ASEAN Intellectual Property Cooperation Programme, which focuses on integrating intellectual property with green technologies and traditional medicine. The meeting was co-chaired by China’s Shen Changyu and Cambodia’s Vichea Suon.
