Annual Report on China's Combating of IPR Infringement and Counterfeiting (2025)

On the morning of April 24, the Office of the National Leading Group for Coordinated Promotion of Building a Quality Strong Country released the Annual Report on China’s Combating Counterfeiting and Infringement (2025) (hereinafter referred to as the Report). Bai Qingyuan, Deputy Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, interpreted the Report at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office and answered questions from journalists together with responsible officials from relevant departments.

The Report summarizes China’s work on intellectual property protection and combating counterfeiting and infringement during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, analyzes the domestic and international economic situation in 2025, and comprehensively elaborates on the progress and achievements of China’s efforts in combating counterfeiting and infringement in 2025 from seven aspects: coordinated advancement, legal guarantees, administrative enforcement, judicial protection, regulatory services, publicity and guidance, and international cooperation. The Report is released bilingually in Chinese and English, enhancing the international community’s understanding of China’s efforts in combating counterfeiting and infringement.
