ASUS Takes License to Sisvel’s Wi-Fi Multimode Patent Pool

On May 19, 2026, Sisvel announced that ASUS has agreed to take a license to the standard essential patents (SEPs) covered by the Sisvel Wi-Fi Multimode patent pool, officially becoming a licensee of the program. The conclusion of this licensing agreement marks the comprehensive resolution of multiple outstanding patent disputes between ASUS and the core members of the Sisvel patent pool—including Huawei, Philips, and Korea's Wilus Group. Under the terms of the agreement, all ongoing litigation proceedings between the parties will be terminated.
