Seventh Sino-German IPR Law (Fujian) Training Course opens

On the morning of December 11, the Seventh Sino-German IPR Law (Fujian) Training Course, sponsored by the State Office for Intellectual Property Protection (SOIPP) and GTZ and organized by Fujian Office for Intellectual Property Office opened in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province.
Deputy Secretary-General of the SOIPP Yao Guanghai, General Counsel and Project Director of GTZ Legal Advisory Service to the Legal Reform in China Prof. Dr. Hinrich Julius and Director of Fujian Office for Intellectual Property Office Zhong Anping attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
Yao pointed out that since the reform and opening up began, China's IPR protection work has kept being strengthened and especially since the establishment of National Working Group for IPR Protection, the overall level of China's IPR protection has been remarkably enhanced, showing the resolution of Chinese government in IPR protection.
Sino-German IPR Law Training Course is an important vehicle of international IPR cooperation and shall be carried on.
Moreover, he stressed that IPR protection is an indispensable requirement for China's development. This feature has become increasingly prominent and been understood by more and more people, which help the public protect IPR consciously. He hoped that the trainees may be aware of their responsibilities and better do the IPR work in the future.
Officers from Fujian municipal departments of public security, culture, customs, industry and commerce, copyright, procuratorate, court, office of IP protection and employers of some service centers for IP protection took part in the Training Course.
